Eryn s. Crescent, M.A.
(they/them/theirs)
Clinical Mental Health Counselor
Sex & Relationship Therapist
Pre-Licensed Professional
Therapeutic Game Master (GM/DM)
Hello! I'm Eryn, a nonbinary, queer, neurodivergent counselor, offering therapy rooted in Person-Centered theories. I also use aspects from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Psychoanalytic theory, Family Systems & Internal Family Systems/parts work, as well as having a social justice and minority stress approach. Being person-centered and trauma-informed is a value of mine in the therapeutic space so I always will tailor my approach to best fit your therapeutic needs.
I typically work with adults and teens who are experiencing:
-
anxiety
-
depression
-
the process of transitioning/wanting to transition
-
traumatic experiences (including religious trauma)
-
burnout & autistic burnout
-
navigating life in a world that is *not* affirming to neurodivergent, queer/trans, feminist (no terfs allowed in my office!), BIPOC/Intersectional, poly, kinky people
-
familial and relationship problems
-
self-esteem concerns
-
people pleasing
-
shame and guilt
-
distress related to being neurodivergent/Unmasking
-
life changes, or other things that one may need to process
I'm here to offer you a nonjudgmental and trauma-informed perspective so that you are comfortable in the therapeutic setting. I can provide to you gender-affirming care that allows you room to explore personal growth with feeling validated and safe. My office is also a space where kinky and polyamorous clients can feel safe to be their most authentic selves. As a queer person, I know how important it is to work with someone who is knowledgeable, competent, and kind; I hope to provide that for you during our work together.
*Please email me for more information about gender affirming letters!

You want a therapist that's queer and neurodivergent?
I get it!

I have over three years of experience working with clients in a clinical setting and graduated with High Honors and a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from South University in 2023. Right now I am working towards full licensure in the state of Georgia and am under the supervision of Anna Baxter, LPC, CPCS. If you have any questions regarding my licensure process, please feel free to let me know.
When I'm not in the office I am typically spending time with my wife and our animals or getting cozy and reading. I love to garden (you might notice all of the plants in my office), play video and TTRPG games, go to live music, watch movies, and enjoy all forms of art. I also have a passion for advocating for the queer community as well as the mental health field.
I look forward to hearing from you!
*Eryn is seeing clients in-person and remotely at this time with generally open availability. Please email them for more information about scheduling.

This is Cheeto; if you'd like, he may join our sessions sometime!

I currently have one more open spot for sliding-scale rates, specifically for people with marginalized identities (BIPOC/LGBTGEQIAP+). Offering accessible care aligns with my values as a person and as a clinician, and I’m committed to minimizing barriers to mental healthcare as much as I am able to. If this applies to you and you're interested, please reach out for more information.
